Napa Valley Malbec
Image
While Malbec is usually considered a blending variety, we thought this one was so special we bottled it on its own for you to see how uniquely the variety expresses itself. The color is an inky dark hue and the aromas are reminiscent of dark roast espresso, baking spices, plum pie and chutney. Rich black and blue fruit flavors are evident and are complimented by notes of black pepper, forest floor, and oak spices. The palate is rich and creamy with loads of complexity combined with a freshness and well integrated tannins that yeild an incredibly hedonistic wine with loads of life to it.
