Annual Cabernet Bosché Release Party

Save the Date for our 2008 Cabernet Bosché Release Party Mark your calendars for Saturday - October 18th from 12 to 4pm at Freemark Abbey Winery. Please join us as we celebrate the 39th official release of our single vineyard designate - Cabernet Bosché. Take in the fall colors and the wine harvest aromas while enjoying hors d' oeuvres specially created to pair with our wines. We are hosting a vertical tasting of the 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 (in barrel) Cabernet Bosché. Cost for members is $20 and guests of members is $30. Reservations are required and limited to 100 guests. Please RSVP to Alexis Furkioti: 800-963-9698 x 3715 or email wineclub@freemarkabbey.com Cabernet Bosché paired with passed Hor D'oeuvres: 2003 Bosche' Cabernet with Blue Cheese Tartlets , a flaky butter parmesan crust, balsamic caramelized onion marmalade, scallion, and Italian parsley. 2004 Bosche' Cabernet with Grilled Cabernet Flank Steak and black truffle wafer thin slices of steak on herb crostini, with sautéed chanterelles, trumpet royal mushrooms and black truffles, and finished with a red wine beef demi glace and fleur de sol. 2005 Bosche' Cabernet with Pasta Bite and Black Olive served in an Asian spoon, filled with small fresh linguini pasta in a mascarpone and tarragon cream, with kalamata tapenade. 2006 Bosche' Cabernet with Mini Vanilla Cheese Cake and Granny Smith apple and blueberry cinnamon compote served on a brown sugar and butter graham- cracker crust.
